Terms of use for Intura app and services
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Intura, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are provided by Henning Witzel-Açikgöz, Bötzowstraße 86, 10407 Berlin, Germany (see Imprint for full legal details).
2. Description of Service
Intura is a private journaling and AI coaching app for people managers. It includes daily reflection journaling, AI-powered weekly and monthly summaries, and interactive AI coaching conversations. Core journaling features are free. AI features require an Intura Pro subscription.
3. Subscription Terms
Plans & Trial
Free tier
Intura is free to download and includes daily journaling, people tracking, todos, and evening reminders.
Intura Pro
AI-powered features require an active Intura Pro subscription. Monthly plan: $14.99 per month. Annual plan: $119.99 per year (equivalent to $10.00 per month).
Prices are displayed in your local currency in the App Store and may vary by region. The prices listed above reflect the US storefront in USD.
Free trial
New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Billing & Cancellation
Billing
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store via in-app purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy and applicable law. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Pricing & Offers
Price changes
We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Promotional offers
We may offer promotional pricing or offer codes from time to time. These are subject to their own terms and may not be combined with other offers.
4. AI Features and Data Processing
Intura Pro includes AI-powered features powered by third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic Claude via Vercel AI Gateway). When you use these features, your reflection content is sent to our servers for processing. This processing is transient — we do not store your content on our servers beyond what is necessary to generate your results. Your data is never used to train AI models. 5. Your Data
Your journal entries are stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account. You own your data. You can delete it at any time through the app or by deleting your iCloud data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Intura only for lawful personal purposes. You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, use the app to store or transmit unlawful content, attempt to circumvent subscription or feature gates, or share your account or subscription with others.
7. Intellectual Property
Intura, its design, and its content are owned by Henning Witzel-Açikgöz. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
8. Disclaimers
Intura provides journaling tools and AI-generated coaching insights for informational and self-reflection purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional coaching, therapy, legal, or medical advice. AI-generated insights may not always be accurate or applicable to your situation.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Henning Witzel-Açikgöz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Intura. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
